Why did I quit WhatsApp to create the nation’s most talked about Telegram Group

It would come off as shocking that I could even think of writing about a telegram group in a blog post at such an hour, but I will try to speak the truth and nothing but the truth.

3 years ago, I enthusiastically joined the green App or what many call WhatsApp and quickly started joining groups so as not to miss out on the fun. Day after day, hour after another, I could not help but laugh at the jokes, smile at the messages and marvel at the spirit of disunion I could see on whatsapp. But today, I quit!!!

I quit WhatsApp not to completely get off social media but because I found something better. I found a better app that puts me the user above anything else and for so many reasons, this telegram has swallowed my love, reckoned me with amazing orgasms and led me on to uncontrolled desires. But why did I quit WhatsApp?

I found the telegram app rather fancy, faster, and had respect for my privacy better than any other social media app. Here I could engage in secret chats which get auto deleted, hide my contact in groups so I don’t get stalked while also engaging in conversations without fear of being pinned.

And when I learnt that Telegram allows groups of 200,000 people to be created, I wondered what more could come out of such insanely huge groups as compared to whatsapp’s 256 maximum limit of subscribers.

Since in Telegram one can search for various other public groups, I quickly typed into the search window my countries name ‘Uganda’ to see what I could get. I never found anything tangible. So I created one.

I created a Telegram group where I personally could share my really life experiences. People started to enjoy my stories and or have pity on me which made the group grow and grow.

Soon, people grew confident to also share their stories with me which I posted.

So why am I telling this story.
