When I returned home, I was even more interested in knowing who this woman really was. What did she do?, where was she from and all sorts of questions that I had about her.

I wanted to know her although I was till struck by the memory of the stuff I had seen her do with a man who I thought never had a wife. And if it was true she was the wife, how come the man had never told me about her existence for all the time we had spent together.

That night will all my sadness and anger, I tried to sleep but in vain. I had a lot of wild thoughts that couldn’t let me sleep peacefully. I was so pissed.

It was approaching midnight when a call from Mr. X came thru. His deep voice calm like never before. Even when I was mad at him, the mention of mine only made me weak. I was a sucker for him and I knew It.

So when he called his intention was to explain to me about everything. Even though I was mad. I managed to listen to his stuff that he wanted to tell me. He started off by apologizing for everything that had happened earlier on in the day. The things I had seen them do in the office. He said he didn’t mean anything.

He told me that the woman I saw was his wife. That was something I had found out already so it wasn’t news to me. He also added that their relationship wasn’t that stable and that her presence doesn’t have to be an issue for me. He told me not to worry about her that she wasn’t a threat at all.

I asked him why he had to look for other people to give him a heir and not just get the heir from his wife. At the mention of this he kept quiet for a moment and then told me that there was a reason as to why he never got a heir from her. The reason was she couldn’t conceive.

He further went ahead to explain to me why she couldn’t. He said to me that by the time they met with her, she was a high end escort.

She was an escort who used to earn lots and lots of money from her activities until one day when she got pregnant for him. He said he tried to convince her to quit being an escort and settle for marriage because he was willing to marry her and take very good care of her and the baby.

The lady insisted that she never wanted to be out of her work so she had to do an abortion that didn’t turn out right. She lost her Uterus in the process and she was so frustrated so I married her out of pity. The fact that she had had my child in her womb.

He told me that I kind of felt sad for her. At this moment, even the scenes I had seen in the office ceased making sense. I could relate. She was an ex-whore. What would you expect?

I even regained my confidence. I knew that she was totally not a threat to me at all.
